Gaucherie: Left-Handedness

As EVERYRONE probably knows now, I am left-handed like 15% of the population. How many people on my LJ are lefties? I know atleast nightowl301 bigmac92080, star3girl, and mand1031 are. I wanna see if I get about 15% like the world population on my Friends List. I see alotta people in clases that are lefties, maybe more than the average population. i'm not a lefty but my dad is. i love his handwriting and in general i love watching lefties write lol. i can sort of write with my left hand though. it actually doesn't look all that bad, it just takes a bit longer.

I'm lefty in most stuff 'cept writing, 'cause I learnt writing in Hong Kong where the teachers don't hesitate about using corporal punishment to "correct" you.

I know that in the Catholic Church 30 years ago, they'd force you to "switch". My great grandmother started out as a lefty and then since she was in a Catholic School in Cuba, she had to learn to write right-handed, so tehn she ended up being ambidexterous.

I'm weird. I write left handed and use all the utentils left handed except I cut meat right handed. In biology, I dissected things cutting left-handed though. I can bat both, but I throw the ball with more velocity right handed.
