I'm so glad Lancelot is fine now! I saw your FB posts about it, but way later than you posted the saga so I don't think I said much since it was so much later (vacation). :)
That's so funny! I think we have the same thought process, as when I was reading your story my first thought was, "Geez, a lot of those hairless varieties of critters end up with SO many skin and health issues!" (Skinny pigs, the occasional bun with genetic issues that is hairless or only lightly furred) Then I got further on. Wow. That whole mothering thing for our own species just isn't there for either one of us.
