Been off this track for a while.
Just busy, dealing with the seasonal riches of the land: picking sweet figs and plump late peaches, apples, almonds and hazelnuts. AND tomatoes galore (though much a smaller amount as compared to last year's). Processing, preserving, getting our panty ready for the winter season. Unexpected Gifts
As I opened my living room windows, this morning, the first thing I saw was a huge, beautiful cactus bud just opened into a full flower staring back at me in all its pride and glory.
