I've always thought that Tamir would make a great live-action film/mini-series, and that Nightrunner would work better as an anime...it just seems to fit the medium so well (and not just because anime's well-known for not censoring its m/m relationships so much). They are going to have cast Alec and Seregil really well for it to work, I think, because it's such a character-driven series and they're so vividly portrayed. Still, if they get the right guys (and they'd better be damn pretty, too) and a good script, it could be really great. I'll remain optimistic.

*stops now* Legolas/Gimli was my first OTP, and Eowyn/Faramir was the second. When I was 12, I wanted to be Eowyn: she kicked ass and got the good brother.
We can play the casting game! Who should play Seregil & Alec? I vote Michael Gambon (Dumbledore) for Nysander.

I'll try not to get TOO excited, knowing how quickly things can go kaput with movies. But DAMN! I never expected them to even try!
