I want to work on making text-only icons, and I thought it would be cool to start with Nightrunner/Tamir quotes. So, does anyone have a favorite quote or passage that they'd like to see in icon form?

It's a bit long, but the prophecy about the Four always moved me very much - particularly after finding out its meaning... *sniff*

Fowl never tastes as savory when you're hungry for venison. ;-)

A crafty nightrunner died of late
and found himself at Bilairy's gate.
He stood outside and refused to knock
because he meant to pick the lock.

Definitely this.

Or Seregil's infamous: "A cold fish for a cold fish!" line. Though this would involve a Thero chibi receiving a fish.

Maybe also some Nari, glaring at Ki... "And you keep your trousers laced!" (that scene was win in general... poor Tamír, I bet Nari had the talk in the old-school-fashin - scary.)

These are great. I have to do SOMETHING with Thero and fish,I don't have the art skills but I bet I can figure out something.

I'm no great artist myself... but I do try my hands on a Thero-chibi. Looking on a nicely wrapped fish.

Another one would be: "Even sour wine is better than no wine at all."

Or the ever famous "Though you thrust your dagger to my eyes, I will not flinch."

I don't have any great ideas for you, but I'm excited to see what you do. I can't wait to snag a few.

How about the Afran Prophecy? "So long as a daughter..." etc.

Oh, I like the idea of the Afran prophecy. I think Lynn's prophecies and dreams are some of her best writing.
