But how was Reepicheep??? 'Cause that's the make-or-break it, for me. I'll forgive an awful lot for a good Reepicheep!

Reepicheep? I don't remember hearing that name once. Tragically, I only ever read the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, so I'm no familiar with the rest of the series. I can tell you that they two dwarves were well-acted, and Lucy was as good as she was in the first one. Everyone else was horrible.

Reepicheep's the talking mouse, and one of my favorite characters in the entire series. If he sucks, I'm going to be deeply disappointed.

Oh. He WAS awesome - I mean, Eddie Izzard! I wouldn't say he saved the movie, though. It was a fairly small role, and his first scene was disturbingly reminiscent of the Long-Grass Raptor Attack from Jurassic Park 2 - and no, I'm not joking *or* exaggerating. Also, his miracle of getting the tail back was embarrassingly over-the-top in it's Christian themes. It was that point where the entire audience.... OPENING NIGHT audience.... started tittering with laughter. Oh, and Jesus H2O rising out of the water and eating the main villain. Yeah, that was silly.
