Oy with the Poodles Already...

I called it months ago, but after essentially hitting rock bottom, things are going amazingly. I started packing for the Big Move. Mostly small inconsequential stuff - two boxes of books, a box of DVDs, and some winter clothes - but it feels so good! After so many weeks of holding it inside, keeping it a secret (badly), it's nice to be able to talk ( Read more... )

G.G. was one of the best television shows of it's time! The writing and the acting were unmatched.

And thank you! *hugs* Can't wait to see you next weekend :-)

Yay! I am so happy for you!

I am so out of the loop on the LJ drama. Not a bad thing. I guess I'm either locked out or don't have the people friended.

But huzzah for driving! Huzzah for moving out and on with your life!

you sound so much more like yourself in your happiness. i'm happy that you are out terrorizing motorists and peeing your pants - it's part of the learning-to-drive process. just think of the joke fodder this will provide you!

i'm ashamed to admit it, but i LOVE packing to move. it's such a cool thing to go through my stuff and decide what i no longer need in my life and what's worth keeping. and i like being organized, and moving is a delight when you have your stuff organized. wicked geeky, i know, but i admit i enjoy the process of changing my life!!! do your parents know you're leaving yet, or will there be a post forth-coming, explaining their reactions?

boo to llama-drama. i am dedicating my life to living as far away from it as i can! it's so unnecessary.

You shouldn't be ashamed of enjoying packing to move. Granted this is only my first time, but I am loving it. Like you said, it feels great going through your stuff and being able to say "I have absolutely NO USE for this *insert useless object here*" and leave it behind.

In response to your earlier comment, my parents do not know yet. Kevin and I were going to tell them - we both would rather do it together - but my mother's gone for the week. They'll probably know before the weekend's out, and you can rest assured you'll here from me on this sucker as soon as I do. And I'll probably feign profundity and compare it to coming out to them. Just warning... ;-)

*hugs*
