So finally the semester is ending! (yay!!!) I am still working on my godforsaken (sorry for that) final website. I've kind of maxed out on my topic, but I'm doing my best

I've wanted to raise bees also. Maybe once I get my land. You have to have an area that is protected from the wind though or else they just get lost and die.

I didn't know that..The island can get pretty windy at times.

I've noticed one person keeping bees on a residential property in town. Our place is much more wild, but I'm pretty lucky to have such a sweet place to live and I wouldn't endanger that. If I took the class, it would be with a view to having hives some other time :)

ooooo, you fixed your links! I don't think the whole area has to be wind-free but the area around the hive does.

Ugh, what a disaster that was :) I rewrote the entry as well. I like it now, but I had been working all evening and I think that was the messiest entry I ever compiled on lj (!)
I just talked to my mom and she said that I could put a hive on her property. She thought it was a cool idea, but her area is a bit less suited for it. Still I'm thinking more about taking the course :)
