Why?
Blood ran down his arms, heavy droplets of rain fell into the blood turning it pink and he didn’t even notice. The scene before him was surreal, a mere nightmare and any second he would wake up and…
It wasn’t a dream.
Sara, his, Sara was dead. It was her body that he was holding in his arms.
Lifeless. Nothing but an empty shell of the person she used to be.
“Damn!” Tears rushed down his red cheeks. “Damnit Sara! Wake up!!”
He could believe that she was dead. Couldn’t even begin to understand that she was dead.
Death…a term used everyday. And everyday he could understand what it meant, but now he had no idea what it was.
“Wake up bitch!” There was nothing else he could resort to; there was no comfort so he cursed. Trying to bring some sort of comfort back.
The tears multiplied and his grip tightened around her, shaking her. Trying to wake her up.
“Wake…up.” His voice cracked and he sank lowed into Sara’s chilling blood. “Please, wake up, Sara!”
Setsuna hugged Sara closer to him, his hand running through her hair, as he begged her to wake up. To snap out of sleep.
Footsteps fell against glass and he jerked his head up. Blinded by his tears all he saw was white angel wings. And it snapped then, somewhere in his mind he had worked out that Sara was actually dead and it was this creatures fault.
He heard the footsteps come closer, and on impulse he screamed, “WHY?!” Tears flying down his cheeks he slowly let Sara slide to the floor and into her blood.
Maybe, just maybe if he killed this angel-demon-his beloved Sara would be able to come back to him. Alexiel’s power flowed through him, renewing his strength and giving him the hatred he needed.
Broken shards of glass and wood flew around meeting with sprinkles of blood and hitting against the walls. Destroying them.
His anger consumed him. All he could see was crimson blood flying around the room.
Sara’s blood.
