Self worth may just be the greatest illusion.

i would have to disagree here. self worth is simply what you think of yourself, and who defines us but ourselves? our misconceptions about what others view us as may be illusions, but who we are is what we say and that therefore must be fact, not fiction.

i guess i just don't see how steadfast what we think and say is. we base a lot on our words and thoughts, but mostly because we really have nothing else to go on. it just isn't good enough for me.

that's the problem though, we can not base a reality on anything but thoughts and words. be that the case, then, words and thoughts become a constant and a part of the blueprint of reality. to shape said blueprint you simply need to will it to be. mind over matter.

What is "fact" and/or "fiction"? True, the only reality is perception, but because we are in a world with colliding 'telescopes'.

It's impossible for one to know everything about 'self'. Our worth is golden, if we wish to present ourselves a certain way. Therefore, it isn't an illusion any more than a truth.
