After talking to Aunt Maureen and Jordy, Oz took a notebook and went out to the garden to work on some homework while he waited for Duce to come home

Duce returns home from a long day spent tormenting Alex. As she unlaces her boots, she notices Oz's bedroom light is off. His scent is all over the house, which indicates he's either here or he's just left.
Barefoot, she pads to the patio door and smiles, spotting Oz bent over his books. For a moment, she debates leaving him to his homework, but only for a moment.
Opening the door quietly, she walks outside and down the path to where he sits. "Hi, you. Hitting the books?"
Almost as though she'd received silent advice from someone, her snakes have braided themselves up into a .. ponytail? They're in a mass at the crown of her head, all hanging down in one area. The look is.. different.
Oz looks up, notes the snakes, and smiles. Different, and nice. "I like," he comments, eyes shifting to her head so she'd know what he was talking about.
"You're a welcome distraction," he says as he shuts his notebook. "I'm bored out of my skull."
Nodding her thanks for the compliment with a small incline of her chin, Duce moves up behind Oz. Her fingers tangle in his hair, gently massaging his scalp as she croons, "Oh, poor baby! Here, let me help your poor, aching skull."
Tilting his head back, she plants a wet kiss in the middle of his forehead, but doesn't stop the massage. Fingers work over strangely tense skin. Duce frowns at that, asking quietly, "What's bothering you? Schoolwork?"
