If anyone needs me, I'll be in the Roosevelt Room giving Lewis oxygen.

First Kaplan class in about an hour. I am actually feeling pretty prepared, I just hope my class is not mean. I'm teaching GMAT students, and I worry about the dispositions and good nature of a bunch of business-students-to-be.

Two and a half hours. That is a damned long time to stand in front of an audience.

It's going to be fine. So much so that I'm not even going to waste my breath comforting you.

I survived! Let me say that wow do I understand your pain so much better now. The situation is fine, but I'm still kind of dreading the anxiety attack that sets in prior to class starting. I cannot imagine dealing with that on a daily basis, at 6 AM, in a situation that's incomparably worse. Real teachers are amazing.

That gave me a pretty amusing mental picture of your GMAT students, in business suits (which I'm sure they don't wear) slouching in their seats, throwing pencils, and texting under their desks.

I'm glad you survived. It gets easier. Kinda.

Also, fantastic subject line.

Well, I'd already used the "nervousness on several levels quote with you earlier." I've been pining for Sorkin kind of hard lately. I am desperately holding out against ordering the West Wing. Seasons 1 and 2 for $45! How can I resist?
