you need like 50 lj friends to get 2-3 comments on all your posts. with you current friends...you get comments when you ask for them, or you actually writing something worth posting about.

try:
asking questions - people think they know everything and will try and answer
bitching about something - people care
writing more than a synopsis of what happened
