(*Note - At the time we wrote this survey we thought that we would only be passing them out to people we knew and worked with. So, the following questions have to do with voting in Tennessee. Please answer the question as if voting in your particular state. Also, if you are not old enough to vote please answer the questions as if you would be allowed to vote.*)
11. In New Jersey, a law was recently passed addressing homosexual partners having the same tax advantages as married couples. The new law also states that gay partners will no longer be excluded from hospital rooms, where they previously were not allowed because they weren't seen as family. Do you feel a law such as this should be passed in Tennessee? Why or why not?
12. The Supreme Court struck down a law last year that criminalized homosexual acts, affecting the laws of thirteen states. Do you feel that this law is just or injust? Why?
13. Do you feel that allowing homosexual marriages will redefine the meaning of marriage?
