You have convinced me to try reading The Lies Of Locke Lamora again. I started forever ago and quite after a page from purple-ish prose

I loved Mistborn. It's definitely better written - you can tell he improved dramatically as a writer and really learned from his first book. But I love Elantris anyway. And I loved Sarene! And I really wanted it to be good. I quite liked the premise and the cover art, but the writing was rather lack-lustre ( ... )
