I mean, I'll probably keep watching it because, in case you missed it, dinosaurs, time-travel and survivalism, but this is so bad. The writing is pretty mediocre and the details are just... THIS. I was like, wtf? Because Josh starts out as pretty mature. He helps take care of Zoe, he seems really stand up, he was worried if they'd make it through the portal, then he turns all whiny

I saw that! I remember loving that show when I was a kid. The series finale was so dark.

I remember liking it but not seeing much of it. And now, rewatching it as an adult, there are some HILARIOUS parodies in there. Robocop-level commercials.

I fell into Terra Nova last autumn when I had On-Demanded my way through Grimm and Warehouse 13 and Once Upon a Time, but I didn't get into it until... midway through the season? Something like that. And it was just perfect as a background story whilst I quilted: I didn't have to pay much attention to figure out ANY of the plot, and I didn't get invested in the characters enough to care if one of them got in trouble. I did enjoy the mom and the daughter, though. I concur about the geeking out over smrt stuff. Have you gotten to the point yet where various people are making out in the DINOSAUR INFESTED WILDS? I mean, really. Who could focus on making out when you could possibly suddenly no longer have a head? Or a lover with lips? Scary and stupid: no thanks.

I am as likely to do something dangerous and stupid as the next person, but making out in rivers full of man-eating monsters and getting kinky in a jungle with carnivores the size of a house is just stupid. And asking to lose a leg.
