NOT! Because of your fic, Nightwind went and Groovesharked Lady Gaga. Nightwind now has Skywarp singing "Papparazzi" in her head. Over and over again. At Jazz. It is not pleasant. I will have you know that you are responsible for making him stop ( Read more... )

I adore Lady GaGa. Especially after seeing an interview where she was tickled to death to have met Queen Elizabeth and the Queen commented on the fact that her piano was very large.

But I also love her music and her attitude. She is often compared to Madonna but I think she's a much better musician.

I'm grinning just thinking about the Queen listening to Lady GaGa's music. That's just...not something you'd think of.

I don't know too much about GaGa at all, but she's definitely a better singer than Madonna, especially early Madonna before she took voice lessons when she wanted the Evita role. I understand GaGa's an instrumentalist, too, and Madonna was never really one of those. She was just all about the image, which she did well. So it seems that GaGa is a blending of the two, image and musicianship. Then again, nowadays, with all the electronic enhancements, it's hard to tell who can really sing and who can't, but I kind of get the sense that GaGa can. She at least has power and projection that Madonna has never had.

YouTube her and watch some of her early videos before she became GaGa. She plays the piano and sings the blues in a beautiful style. And remember she's 23 years old now.

I know what you mean... Gaga may be pop, but it's dang good pop.

Hey, I like pop. Always have. Everyone else can have the rock 'n roll. Give me the pop. And the classical.

And how've you been? Long time, no chats...mostly because I haven't been around, of course. :)

So how does Jazz feel about being serenaded by Skywarp?

Are you kidding? He loves it. Any bit of attention he can get is good by him. *rolls eyes* Even when it comes from Skywarp. My Brain Crew is weird...

TC: FOR PRIMUS'S SAKE, DON'T ENCOURAGE THEM!
Prowl: *dryly* Yes, they're quite creative enough all on their own...

*sigh* The things I have to put up with in my brain... ;)

See... I didn't dare touch Gaga until he *points at Jazz* re-woke in my head. Now, my Jazz-muse is both a Gaga AND Madonna fanboy, and kept poking me to listen to her... I finally gave in. I still cannot stand Poker Face though. Now, thanks to him and Gaga, I have plot-bunnies.

Telephone spawned "Wrong Number" as you read.
Dance in the Dark (a non-single, and lovely song) spawned "Dreamers and Dancers" - Jazz's dance-past fic.

Somewhere I know there's a bunny lurking in Bad Romance, especially after we saw the Glee version of it last night and fangirled like mad. Yes, Glee tributed Lady Gaga (Gaga actually gave them the rights to use all her songs and loaned them her costume designer)... you can imagine the high my Jazz was on after seeing that episode (he likes Glee, too).

Yep, I can see the bunny in "Bad Romance." I am avoiding it like the plague. Still, I need to sit down and write something; I've been really bad about that lately. I've got ideas. I've even got words in my head. But I just can't discipline myself to sit down and write. I keep getting distracted by other things, and it's very annoying. I hate it when my brain is all of two minds that way. Wants to write, but...SHINY OVER THAR! :p

Aw, I kinda like "Poker Face." It's...catchy. But maybe too much so. ;)

I have never seen Glee. That's probably a good thing. If it's on DVD, though, I might check it out. Which reminds me that I need to clean up my Netflix queue...

Being a fan of Lady GaGa kinda creeps up on you. I thought I kinda liked her, then realised that I have 12 of her songs on my iTunes. Now everyone I know at work calls me the secret Lay GaGa fan.

Wonderful pic by the way!

She tends to have a lot of appeal, doesn't she? I mentioned at work the other day that I had a Lady GaGa song in my head, and my co-worker, who's in her late 50s, said, "Oh my God! I LOVE her!" I was all, liek, whoa! ;) It was so funny. There we were, two middle-aged ladies gushing about this chick. Bizarre!

And thanks. :) So far, Snarl is coming along nicely. Almost got the shading/shiny done, although then I will endlessly tweak it. *rolls eyes* Then I have to decide who to draw next. Sludge is calling to me. He doesn't get enough love, poor lamb. :)
