*hugs*

Praying for your kitty's recovery.

If he doesn't improve - talk to him. Yes, talk to your kitty. Ask him if it's time. On Monday, my beloved mutt Skip, age 17, is being put to sleep after having suffered two strokes in the past three weeks. In September, my mom had to have Pixel, our Manx, put to sleep - she was in the advanced stages of breast cancer. Both times, my mom asked them if they thought if it was time to go.

I hope it doesn't come to that.

I have euthanized many animals in my short Career and Every time it was as if they were thanking us. We have to insert an I.V. catheter into their leg and all of them just hold it out for us ( many healthy animals who we are trying to make better fight us on this one) and then as we inject the euthanasia solution into them they just slowly fall asleep. So yes ask him if it's time to go and he will give you an answer.
