Justin and his girls are all fine. The aquarium is... gone, pretty much. It hasn't been stickered, yet, and everyone made it out alive, but most of the tanks exploded. They've been getting out the fish that they can, but there's so many that they can't. The officials are only letting one person in at a time, and you can't transport a large shark or pregnant stingrays with just one person. They're holding off euthanising them as long as they can in the hopes of being allowed to get them out. But.. *shrugs*
If Orana Park doesn't take them all on, they'll be out of a job - which is one more stress on top of all this that they don't need.
Oh man =\ I'm glad Justin and family are alright though. There's going to be a lot of people from the cbd who are out of work.. for a long time.. because..
it's just a real mess. if a third of those buildings have to come down... i can't even comprehend it. it's so ridiculous cab.. i had a look at bealey ave on the way home from the nearest supermarket at the time and.. .. it just didn't seem real. it's too much to wrap my head around.
