On Thursday night, it dawned on me that I was going to need more insulin before I was likely to get to my pharmacy, or indeed before my pharmacy would even reopen for business. I was wondering about your insulin prescription. Glad that it was sorted out in the end and didn't cost you the earth.

I recall running out of insulin through my own unpreparedness in non-disaster times, and having to pay about $60-$70 per vial from Lifeline Pharmacy in the Palms! They couldn't offer me the government subsidy without a prescription. I'm glad Bastin's Pharmacy was more accomodating =)
