Also this: “It was strange on multiple accounts because the clothes weren't just a general guess at his sweat-pant size but pants and shirts that were actually similar to what he had at home.” Though it really has nothing to do with the rest of the story and I’m sure you didn’t want the reader thinking about this much, it was an empathetic moment where I could feel the very slight chill that must’ve gone down Chris’s spine. Not only does Wesker seem to have an idea of his size and what he wears at home, he also obtained those clothes somehow, quite ( ... )

This really amused me for some reason, just the fact that Chris takes actual glee in the fact that he fucks things up for Wesker. Oh Christopher Redfield, you destroyer of plans. Indeed. XDDD It's weird, I hadn't thought of him taking 'glee' out of it. But the way you described it is so oddly accurate.

I like the subtle mind-fuckery that keeps occurring and the odd little details Chris picks up off Wesker like where he pauses and cants his head when their talking. I love that how you're writing him trying not to question his sanity, his denial and these potential hallucinations are very interesting and intriguing and I really can't wait to see more to find out where this is going.
Okay, so I wasn't that short, but still I really love this and can't wait for more to come out. Makes my day every time a new chapter pops. Thanks for writing!

But, in all serious, I'm very glad you not only enjoyed the story but also specifically commented on what's going on in it. I love to read any kind of review, but aside from my beta (who I've discussed this to death with) I think you're the only one that's made a comment on enjoying the plot and what's going on. Naturally, I'm pretty sure that the other readers enjoy it, but I like hearing about it.
So, generally, thank you very much for the review! Your words have certainly made my day and I hope that I'll see more kind words on future chapters (aka, I hope I don't start messing things up. Aha).

See, I'm getting the strong impression that Wesker is trying to make Chris experience classic Stockholm Syndrome. Especially when Chris is thinking to himself that he's becoming too domestic, and is feeling too SAFE there.
The question I really can't wait to have answered is this: is Chris really hallucinating? Or is this Wesker's particular brand of mindfuckery? Because Chris is right about himself: he's surprisingly well adjusted considering all the crap he's been through. It's what makes him what he is. Unless being cooped up as actually getting to him... He would to terrifying if it all was real!

Close with the Stockholm Syndrome~ I don't want to give away the story, but I think while it might be similar to that, it's not textbook SS (at least, not as I've learned it). Wesker's plans are a little more devious than trying to make Chris sympathetic to his cause. ;'3
Since I can't answer your other questions without giving away some serious plot development, I'll just end it here with a thank you and that I hope to hear from you again on future chapters~!
