Really awesome job by the way! You have to keep them coming- tis an order! ;D Seriously though, this is really the only pairing that I like because you can actually SEE it happening in the games. It’s just hard finding the really good fan-fictions, like yours, that are very well written and stay (respectfully) true to the characters.

Well thanks very much. And I agree, it's one of the few relationships that seems plausible in-game and yet can be one of the most difficult to find fanfiction for. But I'm glad you consider mine worth reading~!

I really like this. So many RE slash fics skip the story and slide right into GRATUITOUS BONDAGE/RAPE. Hey, I like a good PWP, but it get's old when it's the ENTIRE FREAKING FANDOM.

I like the long, meaty fics. Like this. Lots of good plot here.

-I don't know if you're aware, but there's a fic that really compliments this one starring Leon/Krauser. It's got the psychological element, only with more physical conditioning (read: torture, but nothing too extreme--it's mostly all in his head).

It compliments this story, because the same effect is trying to be achieved, only in this fic, it's done almost entirely by Wesker's will. Sure, there's some beat-down, but only when Chris NEEDS it. The complete lack of malicious intent is wearing Chris down more than any physical torture might do. -Which is just brilliant. And so completely WESKER.

I can't wait to see where this is going.

I assume you're referring to the "Knife" series, also up here on LJ? I've read it. :'3

I thought the psychological aspect was very appealing, but Chris and Wesker couldn't work the same way Leon and Krauser did for obvious reasons. When I was desperately trying to come with a decent plotline to make the pairing work, I remembered the way that the author of "Knife" handled Krauser and Leon. That kind of mindfuck was very appealing to me. <3

So, ta-da! Conviction came along.

And thanks so much for the review. Your mention of the lack of malicious intent and how Wesker seems IC is more refreshing than anything! I appreciate it so much. Hopefully the rest of the fiction doesn't disappoint! >w

Oh yes. The backbone of Chris' hatred is so obviously betrayal. Of admiring and respecting and TRUSTING someone as a superior, to give them that power over himself, then to have them turn not only on HIM but on his comrades. He's shoulding a lot of baggage there and I'm tickled that Wesker's making him shrug it off to get down to brass tacks.

I've bookmarked this. Awesome job. More please now.

Ha! Wesker and Chris are roomies! I think the way you described how Wesker appears externally is perfect. He really is just this sedated yet imposing entity. And enticing to watch

Nice to see your mind is still wandering on expectations though~ It tickles me pink to see readers try to come up with theories about where this is going. Interesting idea about them acting like a married couple, I'd never really thought of it that way. XD

I'm not sure if Chris is really crossing into the dark side so much as realizing Wesker's side might not as be as dark as he thought it was. But inevitably, his realizations along the way aren't going to be easy ones.

And I'm glad you like it so much! I think it's one of my favorite chapters too. Though that could just be because I got to have Chris realize how dominant Wesker is. >;'3

XD Naw. I'm overseas, studying until the 30th, and trying to go out as often as my body will let me just so I can get the most out of the experience.

I can't help but theorize. lol We still know nothing about what Wesker hopes to achieve; all we know is what he does. That's why I can't wait to see the next chapter. Chris has to know that he's giving in, and I wonder how he will act because of that.

It's good that I'm keeping up the suspense though. I was worried that I'd end up giving away what was going on way too early and then people would lose interest. Hopefully I can keep it up until the very end.
