I've not been WoWed.

So I've sold my soul. Or at least 5.13 gigabytes of it. Yesterday, after seeing an advertisement, I finally broke down and signed up for the free ten-day trial demo of World of Warcraft. I like Blizzard, and I liked Warcraft III (in gameplay much more than storyline.) I then began the long and arduous process of downloading World of Warcraft. I ( Read more... )

I play, actually, if you want someone to pal around with while you check out the trial. I'm on Eredar server (pvp), my faction is Alliance, and I'm generally on my paladin, his name is Aellas. Right now I'm downloading the expansion but otherwise I'm usually on continously pretty much. Feel free to make an alliance character on my server and gimme the name if you feel so inclined, always happy to help with early quests/questions/stuff like that.

Hi. I decided to pop over to Eredar and made a gnomish warrior called Milles. I added Aellas as a friend, but you weren't online (as Aellas) at that time. I'm currently seventh level there, too. I'll try to bump into you sometime before my trial period expires. ^.^

Cool, my partner in crime is actually a gnomish warrior.

Uhh, I'm generally on in the late evenings-early mornings although Wednesday I'll be on like the whole day, trying to finish up a giant quest series. Hope to see you!

Everyone has a different experience with the game... the reason I enjoy it is because I have a good, friendly guild (LGBT friendly, they're really nice).

I've been playing for over a year now.

One thing you may notice is that people really don't rp much on rp servers. More than other servers, but don't expect anything amazing. Also, you're in a newbie zone right now since you're only level 2. You won't meet anyone interesting or mature there. Also, you're on a medium-small server.

I have the most fun on pve servers, because pvp players can be less mature (and often enjoy slaughtering lowbie players for entertainment).

If you can find a nice group of people to play with, it makes a big difference. I still have fun and I have a level 70 character who I raid with a few times a week.

Hehe, I just realized that the leader of my guild is MtF, and 4 of the 10 people in my raid are MtF or FtM. There's really only like 5-6 trans in the whole guild, my raid group is just trans-heavy for some reason.

^^ I haven't played in a little while, but on the RP server I was on (Sisters of Elune), there were occasional role-players to be found. Many actually congregate in guilds. You're going to have to wait (basically) until you're level 10 before you're going to get anything besides dumb baby-area crap, though. Shouldn't be too much trouble, though - a couple of hours at the most.

By the way, play a gnome. Gnomes are adorable. And insane.

I'm a gnome warrior now. She's small and beats stuff with a hammer. And I'm also an undead warlock. Talk about multiple personalities.
