So I put in my notice at my present job on Friday before I left. Monday morning the managers said good working with you and good luck at your new job. I know it's prideful but I was expecting some sort of effort to keep me. I was hopefull that they would at least ask me why I was leaving. Instead I got nothing. They've already started trying

I know how you feel. I spent 7yrs were I worked. By the time my last day was up, all my friends and people I generally respected and likes, had already been laid off. So on my last day, I got nothing. No cake, no card..nothing. All the other people that left all got some form of farewell party. I got zip. The president didn't even say hi to me that same morning. 7yrs and not even a good luck or good morning. Bastards.

As for your place - fuck em. But I understand your sentiment.
