[The Waiting Game]
Who: OU!Near [clockwork_crux], AU!Mello [m_elioracogito
Where: The manor, and wherever else Mello wants to drag Near XD;
What: After OU!Mello's death Near wants to mourn...by blowing shit up.
When: After Near helps Matt out of his brace and returns to his room.
Warnings: It's OU!Near and AU!Mello...XD; They kinda hate each other, or at least, Mello sure as hell hates Near.
There were only so many ways Near could think of to keep his mind busy. Usually this would involve keeping his hands occupied, which he was, fingering the rosary that hung loosely from his neck, a solemn expression decorating his face. But it didn't do much to keep his mind from turning over the events that had happened recently. He didn't want to think about it - at all. But, there was nowhere to run away from what had happened - Near just had to accept it.
The other hand held something gently, a photograph to be exact. The very photograph he'd kept all these years, Mello's smirking face staring out from the piece of shiny paper...and even though it was just a picture, those eyes looked just as alive as ever. More so than he himself could ever look anyway.
All he could do was wait, fiddling with glass beads, for Mello's arrival. Something that he was dreading as much as he was looking forward to.
