But really, age is a number, and we should stop equating it with one's own degree of maturity. It just causes people to feel alienated from others, as I'm sure Kara is (going by what she stated).
Age is an illusion. It would be much more wise to think of an individual in terms of what they know compared to what others know, and the things they've experienced that others have or have not experienced. All these connotations we tack on different ages only serve to add confusion.
It's an example of this is what I feel verses this is what I should feel. And the latter is absolutely ridiculous.
