This Just In: Pepper's Oppressed!

She never gets to play or have fun and it's sheer drudgetastic work work work for her almost 24/7. And I don't know how to take care of her, and I don't care a thing about her.*

And that was true of Quassia ...
And Wicker ...

PETA says so!

Because you cannot see if there is blood in her urine, you cannot possibly maintain her health! Of course, why didn't I think of that sooner?

Pepper would probably agree that she is oppressed, at least those times when you do horrible things like go on boat rides and not let her jump off the side.

I didn't let her jump off a boat into San Francisco Bay either. I'm a horrible horrible person.

I'm not surprised. Even when I was a vegetarian these people were an embarrassment. We have some new cats we're oppressin' now. Little do they know what they're in for as we just got them yesterday. Soon they shall be cooking and cleaning and rinsing out our undershorts 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and no Christmas!

Mwahahahahaha! And the nice thing about oppressing cats is that they don't have the instincts to help them unionize against you.

Congratulations on the new cute little future minions. When do I get to come see them?

Probably when Miss Norma Desmond deigns to come out from behind the radiator and after Max goes to the vet to see whether or not he has a cold. At the moment we're waiting for our third addition, Teddy the aging himalayan. So far we have one cat in the spare bedroom behind the radiator, the other one over in the other apartment being isolated, and I guess one out here in the living room. It's quite the three ring circus. So I'm thinking later in the week when everybody's starting to acclimatize.

Pepper herself told me of her oppression just this past summer, at Spy Pond. It's pretty horrific, from the sounds of it.

I ate some sea kittens for dinner last night. They were raw and freshly killed and DELICIOUS.
