Since I've been daydreaming about winged cats again, I decided to throw 'winged cat' into google images so that I could view all the photomanipulations/traditional art of winged cats my little heart wants.

Probably also doesn't contain winged cats quite the way you'd like to, but the story mentioned does contain winged cats. ^-^

I was really convinced, at first, that the site (messybeasts) was some kind of hoax, but then I found other sites like that, and even wiki mentioned it.

Hee - I'll look for that book, but I don't know if they have it here - don't think I've ever seen anything like that (and I'd gravitate towards anything titled 'The Dream Merchant'/'The Winged Cat'! Thanks, though! I shall keep my eyes open.

Actually, I'm pretty sure you set off the whole winged-cat daydream thing with the pecker bird in Meer's story. ^_~ Wish there were healthy, happy winged cats...but the mischief they'd cause...oh, dear!
