Title: A Wizard of Earthsea
Author: Ursula K. Le Guin

just finished this one. don't think I enjoyed it quite as much as you did - but that's based on the fact that it took me forever to read, and because I had to keep breaking off for schoolwork. Still, the part that I liked the best was the last bit, with him chasing the shadow. I got into portions of the rest of the book, but a lot of it felt very slow to me. But, once again, that could be due to my having to constantly break off for schoolwork.

... I was about to say that the Tombs of Atuan is the third book, and The Farthest Shore is the second...but it looks like the books in my trilogy are out of order. I shall have to do something about that. ^_^

Hm... it is a slow book, I guess, but more because of the kind of storytelling she chose. But reading it in bits and pieces while worrying about schoolwork might have an effect, yes. ^_^ I was feeling very mellow when I read it, as it was Christmas day and I really had nothing to do.

And, argh! I can't find Tombs of Atuan! Stupid bookstores and libraries...

::grins:: I got lucky and found the trilogy as a boxset. Bought it on the spot.
