I've felt like listening to Gackt's songs for a while now... of course I've heard them in the background of interviews and PBs and such, but I haven't actually opened up my Music > Gackt folder in....... oh god I don't even know for how long. And there's only been the YFC album in my iPod since... August/September I think. And I use my iPod SELDOM

I did the same thing for a while and coming back I agree- you appreciate his voice that much more when you're coming back because it's got this gorgeous sound you just don't hear in popular music anymore. <3

I believe it'll always be Gackt's music I ultimately come back to, because it's nostalgic and inspiring, there are songs to fit any mood I might be in, and most of all, it soothes my ears and the best songs just sweep me away.

On another note: I never see you around! I was actually shocked when I came back to my lappy and saw that you of all people had left a comment XD Erm, not that you see me around either... but I do stalk your entries? ♥ there were some cute lolita dresses in the list you made :3

Likewise; his voice is lovely and the fact that they're silly, sad, nostalgic... you name the emotion, there's a song for it. Not only that, but his voice... not that I have anything against popular music, but it beats, say, Ke$ha to bits and then some. There's no substitute for good music.

As for the note: I know, I'm getting so horrible about it. D: I'm mostly on LJ nowardays for egl and I really need to fix that.. But thank you! :) I'm getting ready to put some other lolita dresses up for sale/trade and I needed a post to be able to link people to if they were interested in trading me. Hopefully I get some of those dresses one day~

THIS. =w= so, so true. I don't really listen to the radio, I don't think I've ever heard even one of Ke$ha's songs, only at school and in the stores I go to, but... no. I can't think of any western band or artist that could beat G. For me Acid Black Cherry comes really close cos of Yasu's unique voice, but I think ABC's production is a bit too narrow-scaled to properly compare to Gackt's =/

I hope you'll get them too! :) personally I'm so not into lolita, even thinking about ever trying a dress like that on freaks me out... just because I'd first have to undergo plastic surgery and some serious liposuction, I wouldn't wish for anyone to see the ungodly sight of me in a loli dress x__x; when I see thin and pretty girls doing loli I think of them as cute, but I doubt it'll ever be something for me =/
