It is very fascinating to see how other people live. I would be so lost in the bathroom(s)!

Luckily, my Japanese classes taught about these things. Well, not about the new style toilets though... I learned about that from Kosuke in class one day, remember? Hehehe.

But also, my host family is so nice (as are almost all other Japanese), so if I am ever confused I can just ask for help. Eriko had to show me how to fill the bath and how to turn it on when it was already filled, oh, and which knobs do what on the faucet, although I probably could have figured those out because I can read hiragana and katakana (their phonetic alphabets).

It's so neat to read your posts, it's like reading Material World on a smaller scale.

Tiny cute rooms! I expected the rooms to be smaller b/c I've heard they are, but those appear to be tiny! Good thing you won't take up much room! ;)

And woooooooooooooooooooow! I can't even imagine how disorienting things must be. There's no way I can even come close to imagining! SO COOOOOOL! I bet you're beyond excited huh??!! I'm excited for you, this is really cool..And I love how you're updating about so much. This is the closest I know I'LL ever get to Japan, so its even neater! Hehe! Congrats Rachel!
