Dad was just saying how 'Japanese' you are taking all those pictures. The Spokane display is cool. Did the other countries have stuff there too or just pictures? Put your quarters in your bag (do it right now while you're thinking about it) so you"ll have gifts for unexpected meetings. If you see Gr'ma again tell her she's a wonderful decorator. She and I would make good Shopping buddies. (finally, someone with knick knicks) I'm jealous of your Budda. He'll really dress up your Batsudan. Though you've got a ways to go to compete with Gr'ma's. Wow! It's beautiful! And the picture of the 'cherry blossom lane'...oohh..., luv it! (As for talented families, we know all about that. Adam & Rachel can make ANYTHING out of paper & tape.) Hugs & Kisses, Mom P.S. What's with all the peace signs? :)
Yeah, the other countries had stuff there.. I just didn't take photos of them because time was limited. :D
Yeah... I need to carry the quarters and postcards. I guess we'll visit one of Eriko's friends soon (I met her here tonight), so I'll need something.
The peace signs are something they do here for photos. I think I read on Wikipedia.com that it started in the 70s when a famous Olympian visited and always did the peace sign in photos. Well, it took off and now everyone here does it, I guess. Remember when I had you and dad do it for a photo for Akiko? That was why... everyone here does it and they have for a while! The older generation doesn't do it though... but all of the people my age do!
