Ok...I will let anybody who wants to know, I was more then a little disappointed in the new HP book. If you want to discuss, come on in. If you haven't read it and don't want to hear what happened, don't get into this post.

I totally agree with you.. I too was dissapointed in what i read. To me it was to short.. The action started too late into the book AND I CANT BELIEVE dumbledore is dead.. Jesus. I could rant on and on but it is your post.. Id rather not..lol

I didn't think she needed to kill off another character either. She has had somebody die in the last two. She seems to think it gives some kind of credibility to her writing. Also, I think she has drifted away from the fact that it is supposed to be a series for kids. Besides not having much hope to offer, she has so far killed off two adult characters who offered Harry any sense of control or well being ( ... )

I agree with you on the idea that there might be mroe books than 7. I was thinking i was the only person who thought that considering no one has agreed with me yet. But why not? If harry doesnt plan on returning to Hogwarts.. I dont think he can do all he plans in one book. I mean im sure its possible, if she decides to do it that way. That book better be a lot thicker than the HBP.. The lenth of this book also dissapointed me. We were shorted about 200 pages.

About Snape.. I too in some way think its all part of one master plan. Theres no way he could have been on the good side all this time and not know anything. Dumbledore is dead tho. I believe that. Thats why the spell was lifted off harry. Unless Dumbledore released him with a spell he said silently in his head. Who really knows what happend. Now all thats left is book 7.
