Which of course is another cost that will eventually get passed down to the rest of us. But yeah the insurance groups will get hit hard right away. Worse then 9-11 even.

I hope that I am not intruding, I was looking at the Red Cross site earlier and according to their site, the National Guard and Homeland Security are not allowing the Red Cross access to New Orleans. But other organizations such as the Salvation Army are being allowed access to New Orleans. I have already contacted the local news outlets here in my local area of Texas but I highly doubt if they will do anything with this. I was hoping to get some guidance on what else I can do to get this story out.

Email it to others outside the area and see if they can forward it to their local news agencies for starters. If it is on the Red Cross site, it should get picked up sooner or later.

Thanks for the info, the story finally broke on NBC and some of the other major networks late last night and early this morning. But just as I figured the story has not been mentioned on the local news down here even after recievng numerous emails from people.
