I was very young when I watched this animation (which is actually not really for kids, now that I've rewatched it again). I couldn't remember much of the movie. Owh, Nezha have the animated version? I never know of that when I was a child. I just remember the live version (that almost look like a drama). And forgive me, as I only remember Nezha with his unique ring /fire wheel weapon only (>_<) and I didn't know anything other than that.
owh, wasn't Nezha purpose of travelling(?) is because of wanting to meet her(?, because in my country dub being voiced by a woman) mother?

Cool! You know Nezha too!^^
I never saw a live action version. Nezha is actually a boy, but mostly played by actresses or is dubbed with female voices (as he's mostly depicted as a youth, hence chinese adaptions mostly use women to portray him ^^).
Of course there's more than one legend of Nezha. This animation only covers his first adventure. I'm not familiar with his other achievements, but it's said that his relationship with his father is not that well. Maybe there's one of him going on a journey to find his mother.
And there's another telling of him asking his mother to build a temple for him which his father but destroyed.
