Creative solution

In my post from Last night, I was talking about looking for models. And as I thought, I had people who live no where near me wish they could do modeling. JP came up with a solution (Mainly I think he just wants to take nude pictures of his Woman).

If you truly want to model for Charcoals, you can send me pictures.

#1: the most important part is I have to have some kind of permission to use your photo in the e-mail and it has to state that you're over 18. That might sound weird, but in all actuality, if you're a minor and you send me a nude of yourself, I could get into trouble. Just somewhere on the email, put a small blurb such as
I,(your name here), am hereby granting CJ Burgandy use of the attached photos. By agreeing to this I am also stating that I am 18 years of age or older and if proved otherwise, the legal responsibility will be directed toward me and not toward the artist.
#2: Lighting is important in flat side charcoals. If you've seen my work on my Deviant Art page, then you'd notice I have a very stylized form of drawing my charcoals. I try to keep the lighting all from one light source. Or at least, all from the same direction. I could do it from multiple light sources, but it is harder. This isn't really a requirement, but a recommendation.
#3: Poses can be almost anything. Try to do more than just standing. Hold your arms as if you were doing an action. Try to express an emotion with your body.
#4: Feel free to use Props and costumes. Props can truly be from anything. Chairs, sheets or fabric, interesting shaped glasses or unusual object. If you use a prop, be creative. If you use a costume, try to pose in a way that shows off the costume. Chairs and other things to sit on add more poses that you can do. Cushions are fun for both sitting and laying down poses.
#5: more than one model in a picture can make for sensual poses. (male or female, doesn't matter) Warm embraces can make for a beautiful picture. Two models can make creative poses that can cover a wide range of emotions too. Anger, remorse and comfort are the major ones I can think of. Just be sure that if you use more than one model that they also have a release with their name on it and that there is no sex in the photos. Cuddling, touching and kissing are fine, but I really do not want people sending me penetration shots and pornography. If I want porn shots, I can find them quite easily myself on the internet.

If you truly want to do this, Send the pictures to Burgundycomics@gmail.com . Any photos I get that does not have the release on it, I will toss. I'll most likely save the images on a CD, organized by model name and have a copy of the e-mail release in the file with the photos.

Thanks again to everyone who was wanting to model and help me use the burst of inspiration that I got yesterday.
