{fanart} happy birthday ryutarou!

Mar 06, 2008 19:08

Now that my exams are over... I totally have this limited time to do whatever I want before I get piled up with school works and finals exam. Damn. I don't know where to start. >A<; Okay great. Another huge pile of exams are just coming my way. I'm not free after all.

I'm still a PuraTuri くらげ, even if jpop is eating my music attention and my fandom ( Read more... )

japanese, pt; fanart

what a talent!

*sigh* so far, all I can do is write but I'm going to give doing fanarts a try (starting with digimon). Hopefully, amidst all the busy-ness, I'd be able to find the time to work on doing fanarts and some other graphics O.o (it's currently impossible with the amount of work I should be doing now)

it's rly hard to make time for this things with the hectic scheds right? please do fanarts! every once in a while at least. it's good practice! :D

aside from blogging, it's one thing that amuses me here. its when I see post from other ppl with fanarts. ^^; its inspiring.

i feel so happy rite now that I have someone in my FLIST which feels the same way because as you say, we are almost in the same field. srsly. my interest in this has frustrated me from the longest time ever. and only recently did I have the courage to face it.

lol. you know, for some reason, fanart is my weakest point. ^^; no, rly. i always get frustrated when they don't turn out the way they should be, especially in anime. oh, i hate making dragonball drawings. i so fail at them. D:

wow, her gallery has so much in it. looks like she had all the time when making them! so productive.

give it a try. :D i've learn a lot from the other artists as well. yourself will be your greatest critic, but no matter how unsatisfactory the outcome maybe, just do what you want. i get by with this attitude. only applied it recently, but it works wonders!

i'm looking forward to yours! :D

I really like this picture! Ryu has an interesting expression here, kind of mysterious because his eyes are hidden and the lipstick almost makes it look like he's smiling a little. I like the blue fog(?) thing too. Very Plastic Tree-ish :).

Katakana was a lot harder for me to learn than hiragana. I think the katakana characters just look so similar to each other while hiragana seems to have more variety. And because hiragana seems to be used more it's easier to remember. Maybe that's just me though. (Now kanji on the other hand D:...)

Thank you. :D Somehow, of all fandom I have, Ryu seems to be the one I always feel like doing. The way he portrays himself is interesting, which I think sets him apart from all other jrock artists. I'm glad I kept his signature look intact. He was so much fun too make. BTW, I love your icon. :D

LOL. The only katakana I know is ア. HAHAHA. Such progress I'm making. I agree, they pretty much look the same! I dont get it at all sometimes. And I don't even wnt to start with kanji. i'll fail so baaaad.

are you still studying japanese?

Ryu is definitely an interesting person :). I think he also has interesting features for drawing.

I don't study Japanese anymore except some self study. I used to take classes, but I had to quit because I just didn't have time or energy for it anymore. Kanji is actually really interesting, but yeah it's also very hard ^^;.
