8th August, 2010 - 1st Phoenix Fanmeeting - Stuttgart
Sorry, it's been a while again since my last update.. but something happened that left me quite shaken for a while.. (I tend to not think about it now, soo.. yeah, I'm relatively okay again I guess :))
Well now.. Off to something more happy~ <3
It's been a week already since what I call 'The Most Awesome Weekend' I've had for quite some time now:
The Phoenix Fanmeeting!!
It has been an experience I never had before, getting to listen to K-Pop songs and fangirling along with other girls who live on the same wavelength as me^^, without getting strange looks at the same time (well, not counting the people walking by ;p)
Most of us met up on Friday, 30th in Stuttgart.
After arriving at the train station, the first funny thing was, that since I had no idea what the others looked like (with a few exceptions), Carol, who was also there waiting, and I ended up on different sides of the station waiting for Elina & Celia to come pick us up without recognizing each other *fail*^^.
Finally getting to our hostel, some of us went shopping while the others (including me) worked on getting the choreography done for the flashmob we planned on doing the next day. It was really fun, especially since it was TVXQ's Balloons, which itself is an absolutely adorable song.
After that, when the others were returning from their shopping tour, we all sat in the common room and had fun watching the 'Dong Bang Shin Ki Variety Show' from AADBSK 2. The other people in the hostel, who were passing by sometimes, were kinda lost because they had no idea why we were laughing all the time (Quote: 'I have no idea what they're doing...'). Then, most of us grouped around the photobooks Carol took along and took our time squealing over every second picture^^.
Around 5pm, we made our way to a Sushi restaurant in the city to eat dinner. There, we ended up eating Japanese food from Chinese people while listening to Backstreet Boys.. I take it the restaurant-people were fans or something^^.. strange ;p
When we finally got out of the restaurant, we just kinda stopped walking somewhere in the city and started listening to K-Pop songs (with mini-speakers I think Celia brought along) and sung along really loud (well, mostly the English parts of the songs since our Korean isn't that good^^" aka: 'I really wanna touch myself...'^^).
Also, everytime an Asian guy was coming by, we turned the volume up in hopes of him saying something^^. One of them actually started dancing to TaeYang's 'Where U At' when he went by, followed by Celia screaming 'Come Back!~' after him^^ (he sadly didn't come back though~)
On Saturday, we set out quite early to an amusement park near Stuttgart, 'Tripsdrill'. We really had lots of fun there and did our flashmob^^. We also screamed 'Tohoshinki' everytime we could on a ride, mostly resulting in an 'IIIIIIH' instead of the 'AAAH~' you usually get to hear on such rides^^. In the evening, some of us set out to find something to eat (at ~11pm..^^) but since it was really late, most restaurants were already closing..^^". One Chinese restaurant guy was finally really nice and even called the cook back for us, who had already left^^ (and probably saved our lives that way~^^")
On Sunday we were mostly busy with packing (we had to get out of the hostel at 10am) and getting to our stations..
I really didn't want to leave but it couldn't be helped.. I really, really miss u all... *sob*
The only ray of sunlight is the next meeting, which will probably be in Prague ('Prince in Prague')^^ I hope I can go there, too.
