'Their Rooms' was in the mail on Tuesday!! *dumdidum*
The whole thing looks really good, it even came with an additional protective cover^^. I don't think I'll actually use it as a planner though... it's far too precious to risk ruining it with writing all over the place xD. maaa~ybe I'll put a few notes with a pencil here and there, but nothing more xD.
The pictures are lovely, some of them are a -little- bit small, but I guess I'll survive that. Regarding the essays, I didn't have time to read them all yet, 'cause I have to find the translations first (I wanted to wait 'til it arrives, so..^^). Jae's 'Alcohol' makes me feel a bit uneasy, though..
Now.. the songs^^. Basically, I like all of them. My favourites would be 'Mission' and 'Pierrot', 'I.D.S' is cool, too. I'm not in a ballad-mood recently, so these come after that. YooChun's 'Part 1' is good story-like, but it's too much 'just talking'-style and I couldn't warm up to that genre yet, so.. sorry YC but I have to rank it last^^". Also, did you notice the Kim twins collaborated on 'Mission'? I just saw it some days ago while skipping through the essay, Su's hyung JunHo wrote the lyrics, *yay* for twin-collab^^.
Also, I went to watch 'TRON Legacy 3D' on Saturday! I already watched the trailer videos some weeks before and I have to admit I didn't really like them too much.. after seeing the movie though, I have to say the previews really don't do it justice. I mean, I think the movie was awesome!!^^ Well, it probably also depends on the people you watch it with xD.
We first met at a friend's house and watched the original TRON movie (the one from 1982) and it was really funny, all the unrendered graphics and strange outfits^^ (not to mention the OST xD). But to be fair, given the circumstances (the missing technological advances for instance), it was really interesting to watch^^. I personally loved the Bit, so cuute^^. Sadly it didn't appear in the sequel T_T (WHY?).
After that we went to the cinema and watched the sequel 'TRON Legacy 3D'(which btw was f** expensive imho...(I swear, since the older, smaller cinemas closed down here they think they can increase the prices as they want -.-). But apart from that, it was really nice^^. The soundtrack was awesome (by Daft Punk) and I think this style really fits the whole virtual-world theme. The visuals themselves were amazing and coupled with the 3D just wow^^. I have to admit, the storyline was a little bit slim, but not too bad^^.
I especially liked the not-so-hidden 'free software for everyone' hints. awesome~ *_*
All in all, if you like action and awesome visuals, go watch it! :)
Okay, that's all for now I guess^^
love 'ya
