Well then~ time for me to write my London Recap, it’s already been over a week since then^^”.
(Fri, June 3rd - Sun, June 5th)

We arrived in London on Friday evening and reached the house we were staying at around 8pm (I think^^). After putting away my things, I had a late dinner (Japanese Curry~ soo yummy ^__^) and we all talked about different things. Someone asked me when I left home today and it was at 2PM xD.
(sadly, insider jokes aren’t funny if there’s no one there who gets them^^”…)
I got to bed quite early that day (~10:30PM) ‘cause breakfast was at 8AM and we left for the workshop hall shortly after.

(Saturday)
There, everyone had to perform a ceremony and afterwards we did the ‘Gold target event’ (small golden target (~10cm) at normal shooting distance (28m)), but someone hit it quite early so we returned to the house for lunch and garden shooting!!
The garden shooting is always lots of fun, they have different fun targets every year. This time there were two characters from South Park and one with different numbers on it (1 to 5). They also had a box with presents (which had numbers on them) and if you managed to hit a number on the target, you could choose one of the presents with that number on it^^.

I hit No.2 twice and No.3 once, but I only got to choose two presents, since the ones with the ‘3’ on it were already gone at that time :(.
The two presents I got were a CD of ‘Yamato’ and one of these Japanese scroll-pictures (I have no idea what these are called xD)

Dinner was awesome! I don’t know exactly what it was, but from what I could tell it was Sushi Rice with nori, eggs, surimi and shrimp....and it tasted soooo goood!!^^ Oh, and before that, everyone had a bowl of soba-noodles.... I love dinner at that workshop, it’s always so yummy^^.

After finishing that, we watched the performance videos and got corrections... when the video was over, we kept talking for a bit and went to bed soon after.

(Sunday)
Workshop the next day was really, really awesome! We got to learn one of the 'Honda Ryu Sharei' (ceremonies from a different style than we usually do)!! We girls learned the 'Kuriomae', a three-person-one-target form. It was a lot of information at once to take in but I somehow managed to remember the different parts^^
(I think it’s because I like to learn choreographies and since this is something similar, I can remember it quite well?)
Anyways, after around 2 hours of learning that form, we had to perform it in front of the others... we were kinda panicking but from the reactions we got afterwards, we were a lot better than they expected, especially since it was our first time doing that ceremony^^
When we got back to the house again, we had lunch and I started packing my things because we had to leave a few hours after that. ='(

We were lucky that day and someone from the workshop offered to give us a lift to the airport (Thanks again~ <3), so getting there wasn’t as stressful as otherwise^^.
When we were on the plane though, the pilot said that our flight was getting delayed because of a thunderstorm and we had to wait approx. an hour until we could start.

After arriving and getting through the passport controls we had to wait some time for the bulky luggage, --> our bows, and we set off to drive home^^.

So, if I get the chance to go there again next year, I'll definitely will!! It's always an awesome experience! ^____^

love 'ya
