And finally, the continuation of the Berlin post !!
I admit, I've really had trouble writing this and that's why I'm so late in posting it up. ^^;;
Also, I don't have any pictures of that evening itself, because I didn't bring my camera to the concert.^^;;
Soo, our alarm clock went off at 4am. Me & Terry were completely ignoring it 'cause we still wanted to sleep, but Any jumped out of bed immediately and took care of that xDD.
After getting ready as fast as we could, we set off to Tempodrom and arrived there ~4:30am.
At the venue it was really silent since a lot of those already in line were still trying to get some sleep. Also, we couldn't really recognize anyone because it was still dark, so we went to the end of the line to queue up for the ticket change at 10am.
After some time, as we started cooling off from our walk there, I alredy knew this will definitely not be comfortable 'cause it was a really cold and humid night (not to mention it was freakin' windy T_T.. it would've been half as bad if not for the wind ^^;;). The following time was mostly spent by trying to keep warm and talking with those around us.
I also noticed security wandering around with lights, checking on everyone and making sure we were doing okay.
(Huge thanks to the security staff from B.E.S.T at this point. They were awesome in taking care of everyone~ ^_^ (and giving us access to the toilets ;p))
Right behind us there was a Korean woman who came over from LA to see the concert and she told us that originally it was her daughter who is a huge fan of the guys and she only became a fan long after her. Her daughter couldn't come though, so she flew over without her! xD Honestly, I would be devastated if my mum did anything like that! ^^;;
It was here again that I noticed how awesome it is how people get along so well even if they've never met before, and all that because of 3(5) guys ^_^.
The best time was around 7:30am when the sun started to rise~. My feet felt like huge ice blocks by that time so feeling the sunrays was really enjoyable xD.
When it got to 9:30am, everyone started packing up their things and getting up to queue appropriately. It wasn't until ~11am that the ticket exchange started working properly though -.-.
While we were waiting again, the staff started to put up the standing posters for the goodies sale, which was quite entertaining since these kept falling over because of the wind xDD.
I have no idea when but suddenly, Any was poining behind me and who did I see there? One of my Prague-roommates Maria~ <3 !!! (I got out of the queue at some point since Vanessa was exchanging my ticket for me ^_^ & again, thank you sweetie~ <3)
Finally, at ~1pm(!!!), everyone from my room had their ticket and we went back to the hostel to take showers & make ourselves pretty for the concert ^_^. Then, around 5:30pm we arrived at Tempodrom again and I have to say, the atmosphere was really awesome there~ The venue was alight and looked really pretty, too *__*. I still had to give out my remaining lightsticks (I already gave out some in the morning ^^), so I got to work. (Thanks again Meli for helping me then~ <3, I just can't talk to people when I don't have someone I know around ^^;; xDD)
At ~6pm they started to let people in and the SVIP/VIP line was moving the slowest.. well, I didn't expect aynthing else since it was the same in the morning *sighs*.
Thankfully, we (Vanessa, Carol, Hanna & me --> we had seats together) got in without problems and took off to find the toilets first xD. We randomly asked a girl with a "JYJ staff" card but she didn't know either. After we left her, Vanessa told me that on her pass it said something like "JaeJoong stylist" and I was like O___O OMG WE TALKED TO HIS STYLIST!! xDDD After we finally found the toilets and came out again, we queued up in front of the goodies sale and I bought a JYJ badge and a JYJ keychain ^___^. We also got tour posters for free *__*.
We got into the arena and I have to say, the Tempodrom looks really beautiful inside, too ^_^. One of the staff guys showed us to our seats and when we got there, my first reaction was: "Holy shit, the stage is so clooose~ *__*"
Looking around we also saw Trangi back in the normal seats ^_^. On the screens there was a, I call it screensaver, with JYJ's logo on it.
The remaining minutes were spent by switching between practicing our wave and chanting "JYJ" ^_^. Then suddenly the lights went out and everyone got crazy!! After that, the "
In Heaven" music video started playing. I still get goosebumps when I watch the fancams *_*
Next was the tour intro and everyone started chanting "JYJ" again. They also used these fire effects which were freakin' hot even from where I had my seat!! ^^;;
At the beginning I kinda had to force myself to shout along since I normally am more of a quite & shy person (like at the X Japan concert this year, I didn't scream or anything ^^;;), but I slowly got comfortable with it and during the intro sequence it didn't feel as awkward anymore ^_^.
After the intro ended, the screams increased as we saw our boys walking on stage in the dark. At this point everything came crashing over me as I realized that they were actually here and that the one thing I always wished for, my greatest dream of seeing them live (well, 3 of them ^^;;), was coming true . From then on, it was the other way 'round.. I couldn't stop screaming my lungs out xDD I think I also started to cry a bit at this point ^^;;.
Then, the first notes of "Empty" (
Intro & Empty: |
Empty in different angles:) sounded across the venue and I was completely lost in their performance *_*. They were so awesome!! I never really believed it when people said they sound even better live compared to watching them on concert DVDs etc., but it's true!! Also, each one of them looked really hot!! ^___^
I won't describe more of the concert itself since everything was just such an overwhelming experience for me and no matter what I try to write, it just doesn't seem to do justice to all of it.
The whole experience of the concert, the closeness everyone felt with each other during these two hours, when everyone merged together to become one.. the one big Red Ocean we've always dreamed of being part of since joining this fandom.., was just amazing and almost impossible to describe in words. An especially moving part was the success of our "White Ocean" Project during "In Heaven", the sight of seeing our lightsticks turn from red to white was just beautiful.
And even after the concert, when we were talking and reliving different parts of the concert, trying to remember every little detail of it.. it was unbelievable.
To everyone who I've met thanks to our five boys, to everyone I've met again or for the first time during this concert weekend:
Thanks for making this two days in Berlin one of the highlights of this past year 2011 and all in all such an amazing experience.. one I'll surely never forget.
You belong to the most amazing girls I've ever met in my life, please keep your pure hearts and enthusiasm, let's continue to show these five stars our love and that we'll always be there for them.
I'm not sure if you can imagine just how much I miss you.. 사랑해~
Thank you so much..
