It's funny that your icon is the crosswalk man, because one of the most ubiquitous tourist-traps in Berlin is a chain of stores that sell merchandise imprinted with different crosswalk men from around the world--Japan's among them. I see them practically everytime I leave the house. I wonder if maybe this is some kind of pan-Eurasian phenomenon.
