Well, today's total for "Famous stand-up comedians in the Bookshop" is two- Jerry Sadowicz and Stuart Lee. Total for unknown stand-ups, none. Mr Sadowicz is a very polite man in person, which is nice. Mr Lee didn't buy anything, so is less nice. That's it for interesting, unless you're super-interested in Ma.K. models

Sadowitz ftw! His web page is impressively bitter, and not in a jokey way (can't remember the password to the magic bit, but it's easy with a bit of googling).

The Noise festival is free with a heavily suggested donation of a fiver towards WRAITH's ludicrous rider the costs. You can usually bring your own booze to the forest, although I think they have a license during the festival, so it might be different. TBH, I'd take a carry-out with you in a rucksack, they're unlikely to complain even if they're actually selling booze there.

Please don't bring your own booze as we will lose our licence if people are caught doing it. This is also the case out the front. We have to throw people out for doing it atm. Losing the licence would not be fun...

We do indeed have a bar with beer and wine. We have Fraoch, Grozet, 7 Giraffes and our own Exploding Car Beer. We have fruit wine by the bottle too.
