well, i decided to re-read all of the SFH because i have nothing else to read .. and i'm finding, damn, these were a lot funnier than i remember, and I wasn't that horrible of a writer (back then)! so, now i'm sorta itching to write again .. but i'm not sure what to write about ( Read more... )

Jay (Viper) commented anonymously on my LJ like, a LOOONG time ago, but I think I can find him, I know his full name. I found Skeeve's name on the top of SFH: B, because posted it! It's G L Shafer - he shouldn't be that hard to find, right? i hope?

My brother (Feanor/Stilgar) is still around, but what about Shadowspawn, Plague, Golem (I actually heard from Randy that Golem is MARRIED), Goldie, Aurora (vipe probably can find her, even if he doesn't want to), mordrin/mely, vagabond, firebird, i know i'm forgetting a slew of people.

Also, I consider myself fortunate that I downloaded all of the SFH stories, plus a lot of the other stuff (kill radio, BOFH, Dead.Doc, tales from the apocalypse 1 and 2) .. we should host it somewhere, because I just google searched "story from hell" and didn't really find it readily available.

I had a reply to this yesterday before LJ crapped out and ate it.

Anyway, I haven't read them in a long time. I should do that sometime soon. Revist the old days. And we were writing those entries under duress too. If we didn't post in a certain amount of time, it would hang up on us and our beautiful work would be lost forever. So, it kinda makes what we did that much more grand. ;)

i used to pride myself on spelling and i was appalled at how badly i spelled back then. i blame it on the problem you just mentioned, and that when i was writing those stories, i only typed about 30 WPM. no time to go back and fix things and you couldn't just type stuff out beforehand in notepad and cut-paste.

i deserved to be locked up by the grammar police!

but then, the instance when this happened, the post before that I made, was PERFECT, nothing discernibly wrong with it, so i don't get it.

Anyway maybe we should start an SFH LJ community or something .. >:)
