Well first, this entry will contain no spoilers. I just wanna mimic several people's comments of "Well played Rowling, well played." Part of me wants it to have played out slightly differently, but for the most part I can fully accept the ending to this excellent series. Lord knows there were parts when I was glad my co-workers had already left * ( Read more... )

That's why I love reading Bret Easton Ellis.
In his books it's more a case of "what didn't happen" and "who isn't real" :P
But you can't really post spoilers to his books since the endings are usually individually interpreted.

I didn't spoil it for anyone, so bite me ;)

Anyway, you have the book? Could I borrow it to read the few chapters in the middle that I haven't read? ;)

So... I hear an interesting rumor Rowling is gonna do one more book on the subject. A book of back story, history, etc... much like Tolkien's book, The Silmarillion was to the LotR trilogy.
She's gonna be on the Today Show tomorrow, it's probably going to come up.

Well, she's stated that she's gonna release a book specifically containing all of her notes for writing the books. So the readers will get to see what made the cutting room floor and such.

However she's also mentioned a book in passing of dumbledoor's history, so I'm also hoping for that a bit.

Also, she has her Q&A session on mugglenet on the 30th, so here's hoping for an interesting Q&A session.
