Slarming pretty good today. Going to work soon. Make that money. Went out with Courtney and Levi last night to Gabriels. Met quite a cankerous old man. Very lively for 70. Thats what I like. I think if you can fake a serious and/or contagious sickness you may get out of it....but why? Don't you know that having jury duty in Mobile, Alabama can be one of the most entertaining experiences you can have in this city? First of all, your fellow jurors are probably all gonna come in from the same short bus...seriously. (ok, not seriously, but you now what I mean :^D) My Dad and I were assigned jury duty within weeks of each other a few years ago and to this day we laugh about not only how ignorant the other jurors were, but usually the crime committed and the dufus who is in trouble. I think you oughta go for it..I mean, chances are good that the case you will be assigned will be short and relatively painless. I think they give you a per diem as well. And I know that if you are in school or you have any other obligations, jury duty is the ultimate hall pass. I'd go for it if I were you. What better way to make fun of folks while reminding yourself how smart and pretty YOU ARE- just by being there? :^D Lub you grrl - Jen

I've been summoned to go to jury duty twice a year since i came of age. i have never been on one, hun. i've never even made it past the first round of selection...not even to questioning. odds are...you'll just get a free day off...and get payed for it. if you don't get selected in the first round...it takes about 3 hours because they have to make you sit through every trial. it's kinda fun to hear shit like "this man shot 3 people while robbing a circle K in Selma, AL" ect...
