Inoo ran all his might, the sweats are dropping from his face to the ground, his bags are swaying as his body move upwards and downwards due to running. In the middle of sprinting, he lifted his head up and watched the black clouds already covering the sky.
"Yabaii it's going to rain already" he cursed as he run. And not long after inoo could faintly feel a drop of water on his cheek, and soon on his body.
"Oh no!"
It was already become a drizzle, and most likely soon enough to turn into hard rain.
Inoo kept on running, even faster than before, trying to find a cover from the rain..
He was too focused on running and searching for a cover that he didn’t see someone was running to the same direction with him from the other side. It was already too late when he realize that he couldn’t avoid himself from bumping into someone who's running from the other side.
“Whoa!” he shrieked as he stumbled and bounce to his back. He closed his eyes reflectively. Inoo lost his balance and almost fell on his butt.
But in a very brief second, the stranger Inoo bumped into, grab Inoo's hand and fastly round his hand around Inoo's waist, preventing Inoo from falling on his butt. The stranger yanked Inoo upward with all of his strength so that Inoo wouldn't fall, but instead, that strength unexpectedly brought Inoo's face very close to his that it was only inches away for them to be accidentally kissing each other.
It happened in a very brief second that Inoo didn't realize what was happening. What Inoo knew only that he was falling, and expecting to feel hurt. But somehow he didn't feel hurt at all. He opened his eyes and found a face very close to his. Inoo freezed and blushed.
It was out of his expectation. He didn’t expect to be saved like this, furthermore.. the stranger who helped him seems so familiar to him. And somehow the stranger freezed upon inoo too, he did nothing but stared at Inoo’s face which is only an inch from his. They both seemed surprise, but it doesn’t take any second to make the stranger’s eyes turn like he was about to cry, in happiness.
It feels like the time has stopped for them.
At least they wished.
The stranger then broke their moment, he suddenly took Inoo’s hand and run. Inoo was dragged, and feel so puzzled, didn’t know what was exactly happening.
“I’ve been waiting for this” the stranger said, in the midst of the rain, with inoo’s hand in his, running together, to nowhere.
