I know that there is only so much we can do when faced with all the life drama's and harsh realities. The only way we could stay sane and focused was to believe that one family helped back into their home, was one less that needed help. I have to say, it was incredible to watch the changes in some of the folks that came to work with us. Folks that did not realize what a rift there is in our country's class system and that racism is in fact alive and well---not only within individuals, but within our Government policies....The Storm has indeed brought about some good in the lives of folks who will take their experiences and 'Awakening' home and continue working in their communities. Anyway----sometimes---a heart and soul is momentarily overwhelmed by the 'Bad Things' in the world

ps - on your list of who's friended you - i'm pretty sure "silent and calm" is a scam so don't comment. if i'm remembering correctly, someone posted that anyone who comments in that journal has their password logged and their lj "broken into". i might be remembering wrong, but i don't think so.

"aqua_permanens" (probably spelt wrong!) is an lj friend of mine. buddhist anarchist chicky who's pretty cool!
