In case you wondered...
What I do when I have a spare half hour or so, let me show you...
Chocolate dipped strawberries, and skewered strawberries, bananas, and marshmallows drizzled with chocolate. All displayed on my (new!) cherry blossom corelle plates.
Supposed to babysit, but I'm waiting to hear from the family as to when they'll be back in town. Wouldn't hurt my feelings any if they cancelled; it would give me more time to play tonight!
Dale took, and passed, another certification exam today. I'm so proud of him! He's working really hard to be employable, and valuable to the company. I told him how proud I am, how I believed he could do it, and how much I appreciate all he does to take care of us. We're looking at a low-key, red-robin-and-a-movie date for Valentine's Day. We've discussed it, and we both feel that what you do the OTHER 364 days a year is important in a relationship, but we're taking a moment to really be present with each other, and to appreciate our relationship.
I guess I'll pick up the house a little bit, while I wait for a phone call.
