Ok, not everyone. But when I go into work, a mile from my house, at five in the morning, I regularly hear a rooster crowing. Today, while sitting on my porch, I heard a rooster crowing. And not half a block from where I babysit, there's a woman who owns 4 acres (in the middle of Kirkland!) and she keeps several chickens. They roam, and the kids

I heard a thing on NPR about keeping chickens in the city and how it's getting more and more popular, I guess a lot of cities still alow hens, but usually not roosters... and everyong is so happy with their fresh eggs and fertilizer for their gardens! I was begining to wonder if my neighbors would mind...
